The studio is at Office 9, 42 Green Point Avenue, Plettenberg Bay. Off-street parking is available. Address details and directions are sent with your booking confirmation.
Treatments range from R950 to R1,800 depending on the treatment and the season. Low season runs May–October and high season November–April; the current season's price is always shown on the Services page. Every treatment includes a warm aromatherapy-infused hot compress as standard.
Payment is collected at the end of your session via cash, EFT or card.
Mid-week and off-season, a few days' notice is usually enough. During Plett's high season (mid-December to mid-January, school holidays, and long weekends), booking a week or more ahead is wise. Same-day bookings are sometimes possible — just ask.
You can cancel any booking up to 24 hours before the start time at no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours, or no-shows, are charged the full session fee. The studio space is held just for you, so this protects both your booking and Julia's time.
The studio is set up for one client at a time, so couples sessions in the same room aren't possible. Back-to-back appointments for couples can sometimes be arranged — ask when booking.
Deep tissue work is firm but never punishing. Pressure is yours to set throughout, and Julia checks in regularly. The intent is release, not pain. If anything is too much, say so — the work adjusts.
Whatever you're comfortable in. Most clients undress to underwear and are draped under towels throughout. You'll have privacy to undress and dress.
Direct medical aid claims are not currently processed. You will receive an invoice on request, which you can submit to your medical aid for possible out-of-network reimbursement (this varies by scheme).
Yes — gift cards are available for any treatment or value. They make particularly good birthday, Christmas, and "thank you" gifts. WhatsApp Julia for a gift card.
There is one step at the studio entrance. Please mention any mobility considerations when booking and we can make a plan.
Yes — especially if your dates fall in the December/January peak or over a long weekend. Book as early as you can; the slots go fast.
